Flowery cute, but not ideal This reviewer rated product 3 out of 5 stars.

I was excited for this outfit. I bought this blue sweat shirt, and navy blue pants to complement. To my surprise, because it is never happened before when ordering from New York& Co, my items arrived separately. The shirt, which is described here as acsweatshirt, is not a sweatshirt to my way of thinking. It is not thick, cozy nor does it have any fleece backing. It has a three-quarter sleeve, with a cuff that will hit in the middle of your forearm. It has some stretch to the material, which

The waist of the shirt will hit just that your hipbone, and I’m 5’3”. The tide detail is cute, but the ribbons are not attached in anyway. I expected a stitch at the top, to at least keep them with the shirt in the laundry. That’s not going to happen here – you’re either going to have to take them all the way off to wash your shirt, or take your chances that they will stay with the shirt in your washer. Probably not washing the ribbon with keeping in better condition. Finally, though the pants or a 60/40 polycotton blend, this shirt is 100% cotton. Considering it rains I think probably half size small, and it’s all cotton, if you are happy with your shirt as it arrives, I wouldn’t wash and dry it because I expect it would shrink a great deal. Basically, I think this will be a cute outfit but the shirt is more boxy than it appears in the picture, and this as I’ve already explained it’s not your warm sweatshirt. This is a cute shirt. I think this outfit generally would be suited better for late spring in places that have four seasons. I will review the pants separately, when they arrive. I have no choice but to keep the outfit and not to wash the shirt. Either the XXL was not purchased by the store, or is already sold out. For the way I like to wear things a little bit baggy especially in terms of casual clothes, my imports would be to return for that larger size and shrink it, rather than having to hang dry this and hope it doesn’t shrink. I hope that whoever writes these descriptions would do a more accurate job next time. This is not a sweatshirt/not a winter outfit.
